No theatre in Staines stages a panto, so Windsor's Jack and the Beanstalk, 20 Nov to 10 Jan from £19.50, is the nearest. Plus Woking, Richmond and Sunbury.

No theatre in Staines-upon-Thames puts on a pantomime, so the nearest professional panto is Jack and the Beanstalk at the Theatre Royal Windsor, from Friday 20 November 2026 to Sunday 10 January 2027, with tickets from £19.50. Windsor is 14 minutes from Staines on the branch line. Woking and Richmond open their pantos in the first week of December, and in Sunbury the Zodiac Musical Society’s Christmas show on 18 and 19 December ends with a mini-panto. Everything below is from the theatres’ own pages, read on 13 October 2026.

The theatre becomes a circus led by Brian Conley as Billy Barnum, with his daughter Lucy Conley as Goldilocks, David Robbins as Dame Betty Barnum, Gary Milner as the Evil Ringmaster, magician Phil Hitchcock and the roller-skating duo Gina and Lester. In Spelthorne: Sunbury’s Christmas shows

Zodiac Musical Society says its Christmas show at the Riverside Arts Centre, 59 Thames Street, Sunbury-on-Thames, is on 18 and 19 December (Zodiac Musical Society). The society’s Christmas shows are festive songs, carols and a mini-pantomime, with cabaret-style seating so you can have a drink at your table (Riverside Arts Centre, Zodiac Musical Society). Times and prices are not yet on its site.

The Riverside Players of Sunbury, the borough’s other am-dram company, held a pantomime launch night on 2 September and open auditions on 22 and 23 September, but have not yet published a title or dates (Riverside Players). Their tickets are usually around £14 an adult, according to the arts centre’s listing for the group. We will add the panto here when it is announced.

Not a panto, but on at Christmas

Christmas in the borough also means the Staines Christmas Parade on 22 November, Shepperton Big Tree Night on 9 December, and the grottos on our Santa’s grotto page. For skating, see ice rinks near Staines. If you are driving to the station, parking in Staines has the car park tariffs, and our roadworks and travel page has rail closures.
